The null hypothesis isn't exactly a position of weakness Pad.

It is if used to make a truth claim

Quote:If somebody wants a Jesus (of any stripe) they need to make that happen.

Indeed, so does anyone asserting "Jesus did NOT exist"

Quote:Yeah pad what the hell is your problem?

Absence of evidence is indeed evidence of absence. What it is not is PROOF of absence.

A basic rule of logic: If you make a positive claim you have the obligation to provide proof for that claim. The concept is called 'the burden of proof' look it up.

Not my fault if you are too ignorant or too stupid to grasp the basics. Cool Shades

The jesus data set has failed to negate the null hypothesis. The jesus data set has shown exceedingly strong correlation with the fairy data set.

Jesus is a mythical beastie. When you say that the Jesus of the NT is bullshit Pad, what other Jesus do you imagine there is/was? That's the only Jesus in question.

Jesus did not exist. If a man named Jesus lived that wouldn't mean that Jesus was real.

I could probably think of more ways to say this, but it's easier to simply say, "There was no Jesus."
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

There's only one creature alive on this rock (that we know of) that creates mythical beasties, so the good money is on that particular monkey.

Christians are actually a type of ape, monkeys are generally differentiated by having tails.
