Does US cycling federation have jurisdiction over the Tour de France?
It does seem improbable that one so driven and obsessively focused as would be required to win the tour even once could give up seven titles out of not willing to further contest it. He sure knows his title would never be restore if it is lost through his choice of no contest, rather than an appealable verdict handed down from someone else. I think a man such as he would only give up the titles if he knew he is both guilty and does not have a chance of introducing enough doubt over the evidence to make the results of the ongoing inquiry even slightly uncertain.
I wonder if the USADA would be pursuing him so vigorously if he wasn't an atheist and he had praised god for helping him win.
