... Procrastination.
September 13, 2012 at 9:38 am
So who else here is a procrastinator? Here I am looking at yet another sleepless night doing an assessment for uni, I've done this for every assignment for the past year and a half bar one.
Thing is, I get away with it, I'm far from failing. Still, I'd rather not continue doing this (even me posting this is me procrastinating :/), what are your methods for not putting off until tomorrow that which can be done today?
Nemo me impune lacessit.

I'll answer this later...
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

My last semester in college I was pregnant. It was really hard to not pull all-nighters to finish my papers by powering through with red-bull and chain smoking.

"Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow."
-- Mark 'Samuel Clemens' Twain
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I had to answer "a bit" and it is true. But my wife is the greatest brinksman I know. She knowingly and purposefully will put off beginning to write a grant proposal until there remain exactly the number of hours she thinks it should take. Thankfully, online posting has greatly decreased the number of mad dashes to the main post depot just before midnight.
