Feels like it's a game made by a beer company which has a panda mascot. Not at all dark, dragons and old gods>sha. The one good thing is we'll be getting rid of Garrosh.

That motherfucker dies?! The only thing better would be if the prince became a king in his own right and they did away with that hooker in the Alliance.

Thankfully I quit WoW long before this happened.
Seriously. No-one feels that might upset the atmosphere of the game alittle? Gearing up for a lord of the rings style raid, everyone ready to fight a huge boss to the death and in the background is a Jack Black impersonator eating eucalyptus?
Fuck. No.
Yeah, on the surface, I'm saying pandas were a bad idea. I think I kinda understand why they did it, though; one of the primary themes they seem to be putting into this expansion is some amount of both Chinese Tao philosophy with belief in balance and harmony and everything like that. Pandas have almost become a cliche for China nowadays. As much as I don't want to pass judgement right away, I have to say, ever since I heard about pandas....... yeah, I've never been sold on that. If you want to expand the game to include other races, why can't you just use one of the pre-existing races instead of having to create a bizarre new race?

I'm in a good mood (just watched some semifinals for LoL). Going to happily rant away. For all the shit I give WoW, it was (and probably still is) a fun game, which I played for many years of my life, and which I have some very fond memories of.

Trolls ftw, mon.
Yeah they existed before, but barely, like 4 references to em in the whole of WoW. Created essentially from scratch I'd say.
I'll bite... I segregated myself to neither horde nor alliance, but most of my highest leveled characters were horde, and I played them most. I would rather organize my play by races than by faction. I play primarily female characters, my male characters all steeped in role-play. Sue me
Dwarf
Blood Elf
Human
Undead
Troll
Gnome
Orc
Worgen
And.... everything else just no.
Dwarves are #1. Female dwarves were always the easiest characters for me to just stick to. Started a female rogue (Expyra) and never put her down until I left the game (probably for good). Also a shaman (Grigorovna)... maybe it's weird of me to have two Restoration Shaman, but it is the best class in the game, and playing each of them felt wonderfully different. Male dwarves are among the very best male rendition of any in game race, and I enjoyed my warrior (Tova) on occasion.
Blood Elves. Always easy to get into (Weilordusala, the Big Salsa will never terrorize us again!), but hard to stick with. I managed a male paladin (mostly in pvp), and (my longtime main, Tension) a female hunter, and a female warlok (Instability) into reasonably high levels. I found I would start and blaze through the amazing first two zones... and would then stop playing the characters sometimes into their twentieth level.
Humans. Don't hate me, they are quick to connect to, and very relieving for my self-expression. I pulled more humans through their 30's than I dare to remember... but would generally stop playing them. There was an exception with a human paladin (holy, Faolin), but ultimately having nobody else to play alliance with me dropped most of these toons to my 'meh' list, and they'd get deleted for new alts
Undead. Much like the humans, I just couldn't hold on to them. My one and only tank (Swear it started with R, but the names are swirling). I didn't care too much for the female undead and their horrifyingly floppy breasts ("Are they real?! They aren't mine, but they're real!").
Trolls. I had one troll toon (my main for nearly the whole of WotLK and Cata), Sikuri. Shaman, healer. I started her with only 3 levels till max on Tension (BE hunter)... and Sikuri made it to 80 first (85 first too). Best character ever, and I love her, and i miss her. My account got hacked after me not logging into WoW for 6 months, figurred it was too much of a hassle, and too closely connected to an ex anyway. STILL miss this character, and would probably still be playing WoW if I could have her back Yes, that is a personal attachment to a completely recreate-able being. And I refuse to make it again, can't replace her in my heart with some newblood pretending to be her
Gnomes... lots of fun for a while... but their charm wears off slowly until it's gone. With very few exceptions (I was just starting a gnome priest and was enjoying it while roleplaying, and my second highest level alliance toon ever was a gnome fire mage, Aurem).
Orcs... I made a number of orc toons, but I stuck with precisely one of them (Troll rogue, combat, just like Expyra. Playing them felt totally different though). Don't remember her name now
DEATH KNIGHT NOTICE: These don't count as 'higher leveled toons, since you start at something like 58. That said, I only ever played one, and it was a human (Argentum). I would have played her a lot more... but I had nobody to play with.
Worgen: I could not play druid because I couldn't stand tauren and night elves. In cata, I couldn't stand troll druids... and could only play a singular worgen character. A druid. A fantastically enjoyable roleplay experience she was Only worgen I could stand to play. Ever.
Tauren... Never got into a cow. Tried to again with Tauren Pally... still couldn't.
Goblins... no.
Draenae can die in a fire. Seriously, I could not stand to get one past level 6, until I forced it with a priest which I got to something like 24 and just couldn't care about. Hate everything about them, especially from a lorefreak standpoint.
Night Elves: practically nonexistent. I just couldn't seem to enjoy playing as a female night elf, and male night elves tended to be a turn off for me.
Hidden because it's longwinded, pointless, and I shouldn't force anyone to read through me being all personal and shizzle.

On Sikuri: A friend had the same thing happen, and like with you it had been around 6 months, they couldn't return the gear given the length of time, but they did give him some gold to help him out with buying some new gear (and all the gear will be updated real quickly as it's a new xpac anyway). Wouldn't hurt to send em an email.
Yeah, troll shaman as well =P, and a troll lock.
I TRIED to get into the RP, but I just didn't find any on the RP-PVP realms =P

I am so horribly boring that once you were able to play human hunter in Cata, I did so. The only character I ever played to the max.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

You know... it's not the gear that I care about. Gear is /whatever... but the character itself? Many good memories connected with her. Same with my hunter, and my pally... essentially... if epic things don't happen when playing a character? I stop playing them.
Yeah... RP went the way of the dodo with the introduction of instancing and random dungeon queues. If you invite people the old fashioned way (by whispers and zone requests), you're branded a troll. I never RPed with the WoW universe, just did some mild roleplay as a supplement to gameplay.
I have no interest in WoW with the direction it went with its lore. Old Gods had such potential... Illidan had such potential... I think they did alright with Arthas, but it had more potential. Deathwing was retarded. Pandas? /wrists.
