Unless you're playing or following along with anal attentiveness, it's almost inevitable for a person to get totally lost. I so much prefer descriptive notation; it feels more immediate, somehow. Not as cold.

Hi TGC,
If the notation disrupted your concentration we can call this game a friendly draw and start again. I note you didnt include board coordinates either which may have lead to you to mistakenly thinking my Queen check was on the B file rather than H. Folk who know how bad my end-game is would probably play on. I always get nervous and stuff up when I think I'm gonna win.
