i've got a Puerto Rican co worker and he says it is heavily democratic. You have Catholics in America who are pro life but do not project their religion on government. I think the GOP is in real trouble with Latinos right now.

I mean, at least down here there are more than enough people who speak it but not English.

The state of Puerto Rico would be seven reliable electoral votes for Democrats as long as "fuck brown-skinned people" is official GOP policy.
All other (more important) considerations aside, I'd love to see this happen because there is no other possibility in the foreseeable future that a new state would ever be added to the union, and it would be a neat and unique piece of history to witness, considering we've added only two states in the last 100 years.
I still think DC should get statehood first, damnit

Same with the Democrats for their record number of deportations. A lot of latinos left both parties these past few years.

And aren't you glad for that, now? I mean... if AK weren't a state, it'd have declared its independence decades ago ![]() It'd be nice to see that shitty flag change. Always hated its design... but undoubtedly they'll stick with the 'red-white-blue' stripes and stars shtick ![]() Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
