That is an awesome quote, my mom has that on her computer and I have it on my van visor. Nice to know where that came from.
Here is one I came up with today. Lately I have been slamming a lot of platitudes, both by atheists and theists.

Sounds nice, but exactly how do diverse people remain civil without setting up a government? When I hear people say "the government doesn't own me", I hear nothing more than someone wanting to create a power vacuum so they can set up their own utopia.

We are NOT free to do whatever we want. Consent of the governed is not perfect, but it is better than the fascist rule of one political party or one religion or one class.

We should always have the right to question government, and hold government to account. We should have a system of checks and balances so that no monopoly of power can take hold. But "no government" is a stupid idea and can only lead to one abusive power replacing another.
