I just read this entire thread and I am appalled at Al-Fatihah's ignorance. Everyone has provided enough evidence to satisfy anyone's questions and all he does is cover his ears and shuts his eyes saying, "lalalalalalalalala I can't hear you". And yet he has not provided one shred of evidence in favor of his point of view.

Crystals prove that you can have a repeating pattern without the requirement of any intelligence behind it. It's all simply physics.... quantum physics.

Let's make the IF. If evolution is fiction, how do you account for all the similar, but distinct species in the world?
How do you account for the fact that some species are only found in some particular habitats?, such as kagaroos, polar bears, penguins, tigers, indian elephants, etc, etc, etc....
Why can't these species be found in places with approximately the same conditions, but separated from the original locations of these species by some sort of barrier?

Since the lack of intelligence is the reason a dead body and new born can't create a repeating pattern, then it's obviously not the reason for repeating patterns in crystals. You can't be incapable and capable of the same thing at the same time. It's a contradiction. Once again proving evolution is false.

Babies and dead bodies have no ability to create anything, this doesn't prove that uninteligence can't create things.
Ravens use automobiles to crack open nuts.
Chimps use rods to "fish" termites from their nests.
Dogs are faithful to their owners.

Would you say these animals are intelligent? Yet they manage to do something no baby nor a dead body can do.

Anyway, your example that babies and dead bodies can't create a repeating pattern because they lack intelligence reminds of an old tale I once heard. Pay attention, I shall say this only once:
Once, there was a scientist who managed to catch a fly with in glass.
Carefully, so as to not let it fly away, he plucked out it's wings and he then banged on the glass with a fork and the fly would jump up and down like crazy.
He then took one of its legs.
Then he banged the glass again and he noticed the fly could jump as high as before...
Took out another leg and the jumps were even less.
Took out all legs and it could only fly around the glass, no jumping at all.
Conclusion: The fly becomes more and more deaf as it loses its legs.

If you can't see how this relates, your even dumber than anyone might have thought.

Al-Fatiyah, he was asking you to define your terms because that's how a debate works. The person presenting a topic to be discussed (you) needs to define exactly what you're trying to discuss so we can use specific evidence to argue against you. If we don't know exactly what you would accept as "intelligence," or "evolution," then we're left floundering in the dark and the debate becomes arbitrarily dominated by someone who doesn't know how to debate.

Question: What would prove evolution to you, i.e. what would you accept as evidence that evolution has occured?

But since we're now in agreement on evolution having nothing to do with creation, I guess the "you can't account for" arguments are pretty well handled from that angle aren't they? @Fam, I'm not actually interested in what he would accept as evolution. Evolution is already very competently described, regardless of whether or not that description conflicts with a favorite bedtime story from his childhood. If he'd like to tilt at windmills with every breath so be it, I'll just keep reminding him that he's arguing against his own imagination. If he's incapable of arguing against what evolution -is- (as opposed to what he imagines it to be) then what more can be said on the matter?
