Some people will use tragedy to reinforce their own political or religious views, no matter what the tragedy is. A crazy person killed children for no apparent reason. It's sad. That's it.

These are all over Facebook. From "he has forsaken us because our country left him" to one dumbass who said it was a good thing because the children who died received the best Christmas present ever...meeting god and Jesus Christ.

Some morons I spotted on BBC News comments section:

I heard that the gunman's mother had FOUR guns registered to her - and they were living in a small peaceful neighbourhood. Why would you need any guns.

Following such an event, the authorities should fine the specific gun manufacture $10million for each person killed.

It's very simple, really. Ban guns. If owning a dangerous firearm was a felony, gun ownership -- legal and otherwise -- would plummet, and nuts wouldn't have them.
