Why is life worth living as an atheist?
#21
RE: Why is life worth living as an atheist?
again i dont really understand what an atheist doesnt have to live for.
You get to live plus you get to have sex however you want within the confines of the law, masterbate, you get to live without organised god aproved OCD on your mind, praying a certain amount of times, going to some place once a week, kneeling sitting standing when told. Ive been unreligious for so long now i take it for granted that i dont have to feel guiilty about these things.
And if i was a religious person who honestly did believe id be going to a paradise after death id probably care much less about my life.
I guess a good question would be to ask what were you living for before you stopped believing in god? and why have you stopped living for that

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Fear not, for soon this vale of tears will be lifted...and all that jazz eh? lol.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Fuck the confines of the law. If it isn't for you, then it isn't for you.

I can't die until I decide I am allowed to Smile

More and more of us all the time..hehehehe. A more poignient question for you would be, have you always felt this way........were you, as a child of say six or seven, moping around commenting on the futility of life? If not, could you roughly recall a moment in which you were not troubled by this...perhaps the things that are different in your life or your assessment of life now as opposed to then?

By the confines of the law i meant dont go round raping people because you dont believe in god, unless its in a role play situation and you have a safeword obviously

Well no i haven't always felt this way... but this is not necessarily about me and this is not therapy lol. I was just wondering if any other people pose themselves this question and what was their conclusion... that's it...

I do not hold enough respect for any laws or figureheads to not rape people... I don't rape people out of respect for people Smile

My vibrator on the other hand? No mercy.
