RE: Question on freedom to voice support for criminal actions?
having sex with a minor is abuse.

Are you implying that having sex with a minor, is simply something individual which has to be respected?

Sometimes it is. Even more times, the general relationship, but not necessarily the sex, is abusive to the minor. Sometimes a minor and an adult can have an intimate relationship that is healthy for both.

Nope. I assume that it's possible for a healthy, intimate relationship to be had between a minor and an adult - that is has happened and will continue to happen. Not that 'minor' or 'adult' carry any weight, anyway, since age and titles don't determine maturity.

I can probably give an example here and put it in plainer English than the flamey type nonsense that is going on. I honestly think Gil is just flaming you, Germans. I agree with what he is saying, but it appears he is saying it in a way that makes it sound like he is advocating actual child rape, which he isn't. He is advocating consensual sex between two mature individuals. That does not include little kids.

I lost my virginity when I was 13. While it was a bad idea, as I should have been focusing on other things in my life, I did not feel abused, despite the fact that the law would have called it "rape." This was just another teenager who happened to be a few years older than me. Not my favorite choice for a boyfriend, kind of an idiot, but he didn't "abuse" me. Neither of us was mature enough for one to have been called any sort of aggressor. To be honest, I was a curious kid. I wanted to have done with it, knew what "it" was and decided to go for it. At 13, I was quite tall and mature for my age. He didn't stand a chance. It was really mostly my doing. It has resulted in no emotional trauma. So, yes, there are cases where it won't cause damage. However, had I blabbed, he would have gone to jail, resulting in his life being ruined because I was a bit of trouble. He ruined it himself without my help, but I digress. Therefore, I do believe these laws are beneficial to protect the emotionally immature and the male participants in equal sexual relationships who are later singled out because of a grudge.

I am advocating by-law child rape, in some cases, though, because

According to law, is sometimes child rape.

Yep. Flaming. You know you are not advocating quite what he is protesting, yet you are using language that does not concisely display your viewpoint because you enjoy getting a rise out of him. It's not that hard to see. Yes, clearly instances that are not rape at all are too poorly defined, but anyone can see that is not what most people are protesting. Would you say a ten-year-old can ever be mature enough to have consensual sex with a 40 year old man given the parameters of human development as they are now? Probably not. I'm pretty sure it is that sort of sick shit that Germans is protesting, and I'm pretty sure you know it.
