I don't know where Wiki got it's info from but according to this USA Today article ABBA has sold 400 million records.

I'd guess not, but I don't read it so wouldn't know. 400 million is a fairly incredible number, only a few artists have sold so many. Not saying it's impossible, but I'm skeptical. You have 200 mill by Wiki's references and 400 mill by USA today. But if you are a band right now in someone's garage aspiring to make a living I don't think you could scoff at either number. My point is, like ABBA or not, they had an impact. I hate Justin Bieber, but if he was talentless he wouldn't sell at all.
Brian, I'm not scoffing at either number. I'm just saying that 400 million is an incredible, remarkable figure and that absent any support for that figure, I'm skeptical of the claim. Hell, even 200m is remarkable, but there's at least two references for it on Wikipedia.
