Would it be possible do you think for people just have a different opinion about something that can't be proved either way without being infected with some kind of deranging mind virus? Why not call atheism a virus which renders the victim incapable of believing anything supernatural unless they have, well some evidence I suppose. I'm not even sure if Brian Cox was "respecting"
moderate religious belief in a God anyway he was just saying it's worth his time bothering with and he would rather have a go at the young Earth creationist loons, which I think is commendable.
