What to do about bitchy people? Tell them to stop. Two possible things could happen:

A) They stop bitching (around you at least).
B) They get so offended that they stop talking to you (problem solved!)

I have done this with several co-workers and friends and it has worked like a charm Big Grin

Are we talking about people who are generally just arseholes, or people who like to have a gossip behind others backs?

Because with the latter, I've found it to be very therapeutic, and everyone does it.

I don't have any problem with gossip. I just have a problem with people that are just permanently grumpy.
