Powers of Administrators vs. Moderators
#11
RE: Powers of Administrators vs. Moderators
If I eat all my vegetables, I'd like to be an Admin when I grow up.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Admins are colored red, mods green

I am colorblind.

So they are the same to me.

ROFLOL

That's brilliant, Germans. Even if it's true... wow.

The real question here... is why don't I have the ultimate powers on the forum?

And I answer myself, 'Because I'd almost never use them'.

It's like giving Teddy R. the ability to shoot lasers from his eyes. He's already so badass... giving him anything more would be broken overpowered, unbalanceable, and a generally toxic experience for anyone melted by him.

I'm more powerful than most admins. I have server access, and can therefore wipe the forums off the Internet. :-)

In other words, mods wield the banhammer, Tiberius nukes from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Just to clarify to you admins, me and TGAC weren't really cybering in our PMs. We were just playing a joke on all of you. I mean, would any body really find our milking a yak fantasy a turn on? No. Obviously just a joke.

I think the Admins don't really care about that particular bromance, whatever it entails. The hability to view PM's is mostly used to confirm if we have a spammer-by-PM, like many we had before.

And TEGH, I now I'm glad I don't have access to them Big Grin
