What other math system would there be, we have only ten fingers and one of those is zero.

Those are not practical to the common man in every day life, yes they have great value, but our society thrives on 0-9. The metric system is based on 10 and the US measurement system is set up on sixteen for the most part, however that system is supported by 0-9.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I was merely pointing out that other systems existed and were used. Did you learn to count on your fingers? Most children do. That number system is called unary, and is very helpful for teaching basic math concepts.

It's also widely used in tallying.

Here in East Tennessee we can only go to 20, we run out of fingers and toes. Now you know why we run around bare foot all the time.

Also base 8.

i have been waiting so long to come onto these forums and talk about science, so long, mathematics is my life, i literally materbate to math, pi is so interesting in the sense that any advanced life form would know what a circle is in the sense of geometry. Wo advance such as building that use circles we would need to e look at all the ways we can use numbers to represent a circle, indeed we need to know this math

Super Soaker?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
