No I am not angry all the time. I do get angry at absurd claims, yes, but why should you not be if someone claims the moon is made of cheese and you know it is not? And with this particular comment I wasn't even angry more like treating it as a "did you think about this" moment.
I suppose. From the original telling, it portrayed you as the serious one who could not tolerate even a bit of nonsense.
You've now morphed it into you appearing to be more thoughtful in yielding a Bill Nye the Science Guy "think about it" moment.
If that's the case, then I've misread you and apologies are in order.

But since you do not work there you don't see the amount of jokes they dish out at me. If I hated them that much and hated all religious people that much I would have to live on an Island.
Perhaps.

Were I your boss I'd give the exact same pondering look. It'd be ponderous out of "where the hell did that come from?"
As I said, your original telling placed your boss into a harmless, having fun role and you into a dour, serious role where you appeared to treat his humorous nonsense as an affront.
Your later additions change that to more of a quieter, thoughtful response.
I can appreciate the latter. The former, however, seemed to make you out to be overly fragile and rude. I am glad it isn't the case.
