The only way I can see them having a suspect is if he was injured during the blast (or from something unrelated) and he said something to medical personnel.

There appears to be a lot of contradictory reports floating around.

The last I read was that the Post report of a suspect in custody was incorrect.

CBS News senior correspondent John Miller reports that a Saudi national is being questioned by authorities. He was seen "acting suspiciously" running from the explosion and a civilian chased him down and tackled him. He was turned over to Boston Police and is being questioned by FBI. He is being cooperative and denies any involvement.

When something like this happens, news channels go into overdrive and everyone wants to break new information first. So the media becomes even more susceptible to poorly-screened or outright false information, and the internet gives every piece of information a trip through the spin machine. Give it a day or two for law enforcement to sort things out, and however much longer before they can safely reveal information that might otherwise hurt their efforts to find those responsible.

I've heard numbers up to 10 undetonated explosive devices located throughout the area. Most news sources are starting to report that many, too.

I'm not going to say anything in regards to other discussed-upon-recently political issues here. I am going to say that this sounds like a homebrewed terrorist organization, myself. I'm also going to say that I hope to fucking atheismo that people don't succumb to fear over this shit. I also hope that they schedule the second attempt very soon and that the numbers for those who turn out for it aren't diminished.
