Qur'an the word of god?

Says the modern medicine miracle man, who spews shit through his mouth and talks through his ass! Tongue
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

"A geographical shape?" So it's, what... shaped like Australia?
peacemaker Wrote:Also, please realise that there are a lot of other scientific facts mentioned in the qur'an as well, like for example, when it was said by our creator that:
"And it is We Who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We Who are steadily expanding it." (Qur'an, 51:47)
And so on...
What part of that is a fact? Thinking
peacemaker Wrote:But... surely you would be smart enough to realise that an honest, illiterate, arab man couldn't have made things up like these, it is illiogical.
Then I guess someone else wrote the Quran.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Who is they? If it is Muhammad your talking about, i agree with you, he was illiterate. But, the part where you say that the quran is the word of a dog is crazy, if it was said by you for a laugh, i don't find it funny, it's complete stupidity. Please at least read my thread properly, if you have, read it again and at least take into your head what has been said, so hopefully you won't go around saying these ridiculous lies.

Alright, apart from most of it being nonsense/debunked; there are things I don't have answers for... But I don't need them.
What makes any of your claims any different (or any more special) to the same/equivalent claims made by people from every other religion?

Once you can give reasons as to why yours are true and others are not; then I will actually put effort into seeking answers to them.

A circle would be geometric in shape. Wink

Where does it say the earth is round in the quran first of all then we can see this proof of yours.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.
