catfish, did you actualy find a socialy viable alternative to abortion which guarantees that a womans social, educational and financial standing is not harmed through pregnancy and motherhood?

You can't be serious. How is a fetus a distinct object? It's inside of and attached to the mother. By that token, it's also not single, separate, nor distinguished. That also makes it not only one within a unity, not a single person, nor a distinct entity... being that it is inside of and attached to the mother.

Please explain how a male embryo could ever be the mother.
If it isn't an individual organism, how does surrogate motherhood work?

I believe what Nora and Rebecca are getting at is the individual is the mother. The fetus is so reliant upon the mother as to not have achieved individualism quite yet.

How can it be an individual if it's tiny with no fully functioning brain or internal organs and is stuck up a woman's cunt? It's a parasite until birth. I don't give a shit what it's DNA is, it takes more than human DNA to make a person. There is very little difference between a foetus with Human DNA and a fortus with Elephant DNA, as I proved earlier in this thread. A foetus is an incomplete lifeform, not a person. Look at my post a few posts back, you'd need to be an expert to be able to tell which of those Embryos has Human DNA. One has Dog DNA, one has Zebrafish DNA, one has Skink DNA, one has Chicken DNA and the other has Human DNA. But you can't tell which is which because despite the DNA, you aren't actually looking at a Dog, a Zebrafish, a Skink, a Chicken or a Human. Just a few clumps of cells containing the information necessary to potentially build each of those animals.
