We do try to create "this is the {insert name} thread," Sherlock.

Atheists have no dogma, and perhaps the only thing repetitive from us is the same responses to the apologetics religionists have, that are never listened. I have noticed that you are on 'libertarian' mode. That is ok, but at least read what people said first, before coming out crying your ideals are being attacked.
This post I'm quoting is merely a diversion maneuvre to avoid people noticing you jumped the gun regarding DP's post. Tiberius is right, there are a shitload of people that simply... give a bad name to libertarians.

Theist: Where do you get your morals from if not from God?
Atheist: *explains how different societies have had moral rules to follow long before Christianity*
T: Yeah, but they were just following God's law without knowing it. Where do you atheists claim to get your morals?
A: *explains the concept of treating people how they'd want to be treated*
T: But that's just following God's law. If you didn't follow God's law and atheism were real, you'd be going out killing, raping, and stealing because atheism doesn't have any rules against it.
A: *explains again societal rules and atheism doesn't have any "rules"*
T: You've just proved my point. All morals come from God.
A: *massive facepalmheaddesk* 1. Yes, that's limiting debate.
2. Some atheists love addressing repetitive arguments.
3. Some atheists are new to all this and can learn more by debating themselves than just by reading old threads. More experienced atheists can simply butt out if they're not interested.
4. Who knows - maybe something new to the world will come out of it. Unlikely, but possible.

I'm not really a libertarian as such I guess, I don't mind how tightly controlled the place is, as long as it's done across the board. Targeting a specific group is not the way to go surely. I have the same attitude on every forum I posted in, including the religious ones.

I never said that. However, it's entirely infrequent, and usually they don't raise a fuss when we say "it's been discussed [here]".
90% of the time, it's Christians and Muslims coming on this board to argue the same tired shit.
When atheist arguments become too repetitive, we'll make subforums for those too. It's need based.

Yes, it's those pesky ignorant Christians and Muslims who should know better than to come on here and start a thread about arguments that can be found somewhere online, it's hardly ever the intellectually superior Atheists, and even when Atheists are told that it has been already discussed, they are always reasonable and benevolent.

This thread should be Pinned at the top.
In fact, any theist who tries to sign up should be taken to it, and told to scroll to the bottom and click "I agree."
I imagine that would cut down on the amount of useless pious drivel that gets thrown up on the boards.
