Your First

RE: Your First
I played pong and other games on other people's Ataris, but never had my own system. I finally did get an Apple IIc computer and had a few games with it. Later moved on to DOS games. I have about 8 GB of DOS games on my laptop that I can run under a DOS emulator. As a matter of fact, for shits & grins I put Windows 3.11 in my DOS folder to run under the DOS emulator. Reminds me of those days of computing back in 1994.

My first console was the original Playstation with a Bob The Builder game I got for my fourth birthday. Still have the thing somewhere.

RE: Your First
I remember 3 consoles around the same time, I had one maybe it was a spectrum where I played space invaders on it, a sega master system with alex the kid built in, and I used to go to my grandads and play on the commadore 64, it had games like chuck rock and kid gloves.

This thread kind of makes me feel old or young depending on whos post I'm reading, I can't believe some people are young enough to have their first console as being a playstation.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Couldn't tell you how old I was, but my first was the sega master system, with sonic the hedgehog built in. Though I think the first game I ever played was, like, King's Quest four, or something, out of some box of floppy disks my dad had laying around. That was... kind of challenging, for a kid. Tongue

My first console was a yellow Odyssy 300.

It came PRELOADED with Hockey, Tennis, and Smash! All of which were just slightly different iterations of Pong.

Super Mario Bros., Nintendo Entertainment System. I'm a bigger Legend of Zelda fan though. Been hardcore gaming on the Nintendo consoles ever since.
