No shit, Sherlock. Catholic schools are private schools. Getting into private schools requires money and brains, two things that the families of young criminals and the young criminals themselves don't necessarily have. So, naturally, crime will be more common in public schools.

Why...almost as if he doesn't exist at all, eh Drippy? Keep pursuing that line of thought. Maybe in a thousand years you'll figure out how badly you have been conned.

In a word, no.

Will... muslims? jews? hindus? buddhists? Shall we kick out all non-christian influences on this matter?

The link you provided doesn't have any such comparison, nor a single mention of Christian schools. I guess you figured that we'd just take your word for it if you linked a 200 page pdf that you didn't read (or even skim.) I'd be interested to see such a study though, but you certainly didn't provide one here. I did find this bit though.

Quote: The percentage of students in grades 9 through 12 who reported being in a physical fight anywhere decreased
between 1993 and 2009, from 42 to 31 percent; this was also true for the percentage of students who
reported being in a physical fight on school property, this percentage decreased from 16 to 11 percent.

So once again though we see the trend away from violence in both our society and our schools.

As already partially covered by CapnAwesome.

Not a single mention of God, Christian, Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Methodist, Mormon, Secular, or Atheist. One mention of Religious on page 199:

Quote:Cult or extremist group A group that espouses radical beliefs and practices, which may include a religious component, that are widely seen as threatening the basic values and cultural norms of society at large.

Since the words "christian" and "catholic" do not appear even once in the document you linked, I'm assuming that YOU'RE assuming all the private schools listed in the document are Catholic schools. Which is untrue, but Catholic schools are private schools.

But I already covered that point on top of this page. It has absolutely nothing to do with "keeping God in the school". Especially since not all private schools in the US are religiously affiliated. Your point is invalid.

Next!

Personally I'm all in favour of keeping "God" in school. In fact, the guy has such serious learning issues, I'd bung him in one of those special classes for kids with particularly severe problems.

On his own, of course. Don't want him holding all the other kids back.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Quote:The scores from the 2006 Program for International Student Assessment showed that U.S. 15-year-olds trailed their peers from many industrialized countries. The average science score of U.S. students lagged behind those in 16 of 30 countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, a Paris-based group that represents the world's richest countries. The U.S. students were further behind in math, trailing counterparts in 23 countries.

Don't you think American students are far enough up shit's creek without wasting their time telling them about superstitious nonsense, Drippy?
