“The Milwaukee Police Department remains committed to holding itself to the highest ethical and professional standards. We can not break the law in the name of enforcing the law. We can not pursue noble ends using ignoble means. We will continue to work to regain the trust of those whose confidence in us has been undermined by these events.”

I'd read the story elsewhere yesterday and just clicked on a link at random (and because I liked the name) to post the article here today.

If a copper put a sheila, let alone dozens of them, in a choke hold and digitally raped her he would be looking at a ten year minimum down here. Quite rightly coppers are subject to higher criminal culpability than your average Joe Bloggs citizen.
