IMPD Lt. Richard Riddle said he does not believe the cars involved were equipped with dashboard cameras. IMPD officers are not currently wearing body cameras, as a pilot program that tested them ended last month.

In other words, body cameras or dashboard cameras simply aren't a priority in this department and we are left to believe whatever the police tell us about why they just absolutely had to kill this young man.

Having lived in Houston for many years, I have seen cops pull their weapons in situation that here in the UK the police (who are unarmed) try o use their verbal and tactical skills first. Some cops here carry Tazers and spray but there is quite strict guidelines on their usage. Some highly trained cops carry arms, these are usually present at airports or in specialist cars designed to respond to rare firearms crimes in the UK. I am not saying that cops in the UK are perfect, they certainly aren't. And, I admit that the UK does not have the high level of gun ownership that is prevalent in the states, But I admit I would not like to be a black man in some parts of the US with trigger happy armed cops about.

That said, when i lived in Texas, I did have my concealed carry and did so. Cannot do that here, but then I don't feel the need to either.

I'm sure that if a complete analysis was done on these cases that the result would show that most of those police departments, if not all of them, received their training from the same guy.  His attitude is that they should shoot fire, preferably to kill, because the cop lovers will exonerate them.  And that has worked in about 99% of the cases.  Now the tide is turning, however slightly, and a few cops are starting to pay the price for their homicidal maniac behavior.

“I know why you stopped me,” Parker shouted, and then began complaining about police brutality in Ferguson, Missouri. “F*ck you cops with your guns.”
Parker’s companions then said he punched the officer “for no apparent reason,” and the officer fell backwards and struck his head on the pavement, knocking him unconscious.
Two passengers in the car tried to restrain Parker as he attempted to attack another officer at the scene, and several officers finally subdued him and placed him in handcuffs.

No guns.... no tasers.  Gee.  I wonder what the DIFFERENCE might be?  For a clue, look at the photo.  How much more threatening is a guy who closes a car door as opposed to a guy who is punching the shit out of cops?
