No jury will convict because you can always convince one cock sucker on the jury that the deceased victim had it coming, etc,.

Not until a cop blows a baby's brains out and has the dept try to play business as usual charade will this change.

And I'm skeptical of the above provoking enough outrage to undo the brainwashing that tells you the Police are your friends.

A family in Georgia said this week that a police officer should never have killed 17-year-old Christopher Roupe because he was only holding a video game controller, not a gun as authorities have claimed.

According to WSB-TV, Roupe had been shot to death on Friday when Euharlee officers showed up at his home to serve a probation violation warrant on his father. The officer later told state investigators that she was forced to shoot because Roupe had pointed at gun at her when he opened the door.

But Roupe’s family and witnesses who were at the scene said that the officer’s statement was just not true.

A Texas woman was dragged screaming to a police car in Austin, Texas after being arrested for failing to provide ID while jaywalking.

She's lucky they didn't shoot her on sight.

A Florida woman is suing her local sheriff’s office for allegedly using excessive force against her during a traffic stop after informing the officer she was recording the encounter.

WPLG-TV reported on Tuesday that 33-year-old Brandy Berning spent a night in jail after being arrested by Lt. William O’Brien in March 2013, but was never charged. Regardless, she plans to sue the Broward County Sheriff’s Department for his conduct.

Sometimes cops come across as being racists but in actuality they are just being assholes. As the stories show, they hate everyone and are equal opportunity killers and oppressors.

On October 24, the Houston Police Department announced the results of its yearlong investigation into the shooting death of Brian Claunch, a mentally ill double amputee killed by an officer last September after refusing to drop a pen. HPD cleared the officer, Matthew Marin, of any wrongdoing.

That may not come as a surprise, since HPD hasn’t found a single police shooting unjustified in at least six years. Between 2007 and 2012, HPD officers fatally shot 109 people and injured another 111. All those shootings were found justified. Journalist and professor D. Brian Burghart saw a gaping information hole when he realized no one knows how many civilians are killed by law enforcement every year. So he launched the database Fatal Encounters to keep track.

Aiyana Jones and Eugene Mallory don't appear to have much in common. Jones was 7, a black grade schooler from Detroit with her whole life ahead of her. Mallory was 80, white and, after putting in his dues as an engineer for Lockeed Martin, was well into retirement in a Los Angeles suburb.

What they do have in common is violent, sudden death at the hands of police officers. Aiyana was shot to death during a raid on her home in 2010, and Mallory was shot to death in a raid on his home in 2012. Both were innocent of any crime - and they are far from alone. How far, though, no one knows.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation tracks how many cops are killed in the line of duty but has refused to count how many American civilians are killed by police. But if local figures serve as a guide, the number isn't a small one. In Los Angeles County alone, officers killed an average 41 people every year from 2007 to 2013.

I saw that the other day. Someone called the nearby police when they saw a woman hit her daughter. The cops confront the man, he refuses to give ID, and they beat him to death. The chief apparently said they were following protocol, so obviously he needs to be fired and the protocol changed.

I may have said this before, but the police abusing their power is probably the worst thing in the world. If anyone has the duty to protect the people, and should be trusted above anyone else, it's the police. I try to be an optimist in life, but it's hard sometimes.
