A Texas college student likely died from a gunshot wound to his back after making a sarcastic remark to the campus police officer who killed him.

Autopsy results show 23-year-old Cameron Redus was shot five times at close range by Cpl. Christopher Carter, a University of Incarnate Word police officer, during an early morning Dec. 6 traffic stop near the San Antonio campus.

This cop "James Peters has been involved in 7 shootings since 2002 6 of them fatal. What in the world is happening? Is it getting worse or just more info now because of the net?

Yes, to both questions. Also the proliferation of cell phone video has added evidence to dispute what police usually describe - and what almost invariably results from their so-called 'investigations' - as "justifiable."
