He admits that he picks and chooses what science he wants to believe. In an interview with Matt and Russell from The Atheist Experience, he admitted that evolutionary science is good for medicine, but he still denies the proven evolutionary theory.

I also think that Ray Comfort is just a professional charlatan. He does not have a college degree or many skills, so he figured out how much money he could make exploiting people's ignorance; just like Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter.

Either that, or he is a good example of Sigmund Freud's theories on religions. Freud thinks religion is just something people use as a parent to cling to. Comfort sounds pretty mentally unstable.

Right, it was this exact interview that I was referring to, but it looks like I was a little off on my memory of it.

I was grimacing every time Ray started preaching to and condemning the people he was interviewing in the OP's video. He was essentially a bully to all those atheists, and he did so much harm to those who were still in the midst of their field of study.

On the bright side, the absurdity of Ray's claims and his character probably assists in raising awareness of 'atheism' everywhere he appears.

First of all, I'd like to remind everyone that "germ theory" is JUST A THEORY!!!!

...and my abuse of the all-caps button and needless exclamation points should compensate for my lack of knowledge about what "theory" means in science.

Second, I'd like to ask a simple question. Why are schools so reluctant to teach the controversy?

Is there a conspiracy run by some shadowy atheist cabal that has somehow taken over the entire scientific community, subverted the entire process of peer-review, expels anyone who doesn't play along and has maintained this grand conspiracy across all international boundaries since the 19th century?

Who could possibly have the kind of resources and power to successfully maintain such a grand conspiracy?





Third, I'd like to point out that the Holey Babble, the Revealed Word Of Gawd, makes it very clear that diseases are caused by demonic possession. Jayzus Christ himself tells us that those of true faith will be able to cure the sick by casting out demons and that prayer and fasting are sometimes the recommended cures.
