Archeologists uncover medieval "Vampire cemetery" in Poland
Quote:A chilling find has been made in Poland: at least 17 skeletons buried with the skulls severed and placed between the knees or hands. That, say archaeologists, is how vampires used to be interred, to stop them rising from the dead.

Yeah, a doctor thought I might have a form of porphyria after I got home from India. I had a heat stroke which made me delusional. He thought I had porphyria and I was reacting to the sun. One test came up positive for porphyria, but he was doing it wrong so it doesn't mean anything. I like to joke that I'm a vampire though. Cool Shades

Cool and creepy. And a little bit stupid Tongue
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

The funny/sad thing is some people might actually take you seriously if you claim to be a vampire, XD. And i'm glad you didn't actually get porphyria.

The stakes probably rotted away though.
Besides, archaeologists don't say that, Bram Stokers does.
Dude, he has explained the whole ritual in the book, the beheading, the filling of the severed head with garlic, the staking of the heart, and the sealing of the coffin with a special ritual.
