It's correctly defined as: There is only One True God—revealed in three persons … Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
The classic metaphors are:
• Shamrock: Saint Patrick, who spread the Gospel in Ireland, used a three-leafed clover.
• Egg: Another common one—eggshell, egg white and yolk.
• H2O: The three phases of H2O—water, ice, steam—are better as an analogy but also fall short since any given temperature produces only one of these at a time. That picture leads to a false doctrine that says the Trinity is really only one person who takes on one of three modes at any given time
C.S. Lewis:
• The three dimensions of space: Length, width and height. All coincide in the same place, yet are distinct.

3 persons ≠ 1 person, no. We said that already.

Now he's got different modes? Like 'god mode'?

I do understand what you are trying to say fr0d0, we all do, that's why we are confident in calling it fucking bat-shit crazy.
Your brains aren't quite on the floor fr0d0, they've got about as low as your knees but you've still got a chance.

Actually I'm wondering how you can reconcile this.
It goes even further than believing in God, if you think he could possibly disobey these laws. How do you reconcile all this?

This is what has been presented as God all along. I know you are attached to the reasoning that would link God to this physical realm but the Christian understanding of God is precisely not that. I, and all Christians, have reconciled that problem from the word go. How we reconcile it follows the logic of the whole belief. We (you and I) have discussed that in great detail already. This would be to revive our whole evidence debate. We can continue there again if you want.

I'm okay for now.
It seems to me - correct me if I'm wrong - that your primary point is that you (and Christians alike) believe that the logic follows from the belief, rather than the belief following from the logic. So it's different, and different to science, etc, in that sense.
Have I understood you correctly?

Didn't JP say that science is about what has happened and the study of God about before what happens. ((probably viciously) paraphrased).
That sounds ok at the moment Evie. I'd have to consider it and get back to you.

What makes you think silly little theologians have the tools and knowledge to talk about what happened before?
