Hell, yeah! My background is Kenpo and Silat (with a negligible amount of Wing Chun experience), so I would welcome a chance to learn from other martial artists.

More generally, I would like to see a sports section, if only to someday see Koolay argue that the salary cap in American-style football is really a government-backed socialist affront to human dignity. Could be fun.

RE: Vote - Sports Section
I voted yes, but am not obsessed with the idea. I'd actually be curious what the mods voted, if any did.

I do follow soccer. That's my main thing. The local SDSU Aztecs, Manchester City, Seattle Sounders FC and Portland Thorns FC women.

I also watch gymnastics, and fleetingly, collegiate tennis, water polo, and WBB.

Oddly, I don't much care for the "big four" sports of our country, but will fleetingly watch, as in the Super Bowl.

ETA: The America's Cup starts on Saturday, I believe. I have been following a lot of the leadup to that over the past couple years, including going to two major int'l boat races off of San Diego. That could be a good thread if anybody else likes that sort of stuff.

OK, I have to admit that I'm a sucker for gymnastics, cheerleading and figure skating. Big Grin
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I'm a sucker for gymnasts and cheerleaders. Does that count?

That way Bane can blow it to bits, the way it should be.

I voted yes, but that vote is contingent on every thread being dedicated to insulting Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers.
