At 7 pm I was feeling fine. At about 9 pm I started to feel a little light-headed. I sat down to read and started getting stomach and leg cramps around 10:30 (with some major gastrointestinal distress). At 11:30, I started shivering so badly that it hurt to breathe and I had to steady myself to walk to the bathroom because I'd fall over if I didn't. That lasted on and off until about 1:30. I fell asleep around 2, and just now woke up with... more gastrointestinal distress.
Point being, I don't think I'm making it to work tomorrow. Holy. Eff. I've never gotten so ill this fast.

This is probably too obvious to be of any use but...
If I want to transfer a file between devices, I find an easy way is to attach it to an email and send it to myself. Then I get my emails up on the other device and download it.
Telling my in-laws I'm "emailing myself" is very amusing too, trying to explain why anyone would ever do that

Google Drive is great, because you don't even have to email anything to yourself. You can keep all of your important documents/files in a secure space, accessible to you from any device at any time. And you get 15 free GB of storage.
The other big thing that comes in handy is bypassing email attachment size limits. Since attaching files out of your Drive is just attaching a link to the file and access to your drive to whomever you send it, you can attach a shit ton of large files to an email. This helps me when I have to send a bunch of hi-res photos for work. I don't have to send 6 emails to get past the attachment size limit.

My trick: find a TED talk on a topic that you are utterly not interested in, and try to pay attention to it really hard.
The risk is that sometimes you'll find that you are fascinated by something you thought you'd be bored by.

Steel: Oh wow, I've never heard of that!
Do you think it's secure? I mean, I'm hoping to start bookkeeping for real soon and I'm looking for a way of backing up my data. One way is to get the cloud version of the software, the other is to use it offline and then store it remotely. Do you think it would be viable for that?

Beccs, are you sure, "beer" isn't a euphemism for new sexy young male intern! You do need the dishes cleaned and the carpets vaccumed, right? We understand, we're all friends here.
