Today was Hot Dog Day at work -- free food and a live band, too.

And speaking of live bands, I have a rehearsal tonight. Hoping that the little frilly bits in "Bolero" that I rehearsed last night managed to stick.

In between, hoping to get a bit more work done in the back yard (which is gradually starting to resemble a back yard again, rather than ground zero for Dorothy's house due to bits and pieces of gazebo roof rafters strewn hither and yon).

Currently running an experiment to see if I can tell the difference between brandy and cognac.  (Preliminary investigations indicate that brandy is like #60 sandpaper and cognac more like #400 grade.)
