Writer's group this evening, and then I went shopping.

I shop weird. (checks sewing notions, speaker wire, adzuki beans and oyster sauce off shopping list)

Packing. Tomorrow I start my week long cross country trip. I fly to DC from California, and drive back for a week. Should be good.

Likewise if you pass near Portland / Vancouver.  She's still recovering but our home is right off I-5 not far north of I-84.  I don't figure you'd get out this way unless you get on I-80 and I-84, or something nuts like the northern route through Montana.  I could think of worse ways to go.

So I had to work late today and left my daughter in after school care.
When I picked her up there was a policeman talking to the lady in charge.
Apparently a father had tried to take his kid when the mother was the only one authorised to do so.
When he was refused entry (the keep a padlock on a chained gate) he went around the building thumping on walls and carrying on.
The kids got quite a fright, about 30 or so of them.
If only I could find out where this shit for brains lives and get some good bruising on my knuckles.

Gotta reschedule my PT appointment today because, as I knew would happen when I bought it, my new mattress is scheduled to be delivered EXACTLY when my PT appointment is, and they're so unpredictable that I'm leery of rescheduling the delivery because I have appointments or engagements over the weekend too.

On the plus side, though, I'm getting a new mattress.
