What's everyone up to right now?

Escaped from the weather and am hanging out at a friends house.

I've been sleeping much of the last few days myself. A cycle of getting drunk, crashing out, napping for five or six hours, then waking to get drunk again. Lather, rinse and repeat.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
I'm still sleeping a lot. I'm hoping the medication was causing the depression, and now that the medication is gone, my mood will lift. But it's possible it just triggered the depression, which will have to resolve on its own. There's signs I'm improving. I remembered today that I forgot to pay the rent. "Oops." Forgetting, bad. Remembering, good. There's one bright spot. My sister let me run into Walmart on the way home, so I was able to grab some needed supplies. Eight tins of sardines, two tins of mackerel, 7 small tins of kippered herring, and five large tins of kippered herring. I'm ready for the end of the world. Bring it on. ![]()
Just finished watching Eddard Stark get beheaded. I'm kind of pissed at the little things the screenwriters changed from the books for seemingly no reason. Still, Game of Thrones is the shits.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
PM me your email address to join the Slack chat! I'll give you a taco(or five) if you join! --->There's an app and everything!<---
Not tired, not one bit. I should be but what little sleep I did have was interrupted by a chickenshit dog that was growling at my sister (INTRUDER!) while perched oh so safely ontop of me in my bed. So, I went out to look at the lovely ice crystals falling from the sky in plumes, sparkling in the moonlight as my sis scraped off a layer of snow from her car. Maybe the kids will have a snowday and we'll get to have some fun! My mind is running with valentines projects and cookie recipes. Alsol I know this hill.. now all I need to do is figure out a sled

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong. ![]()
Finished looking at a #sochiproblems article on Yahoo!. Glad I'm not there. The Olympics deserves better. Hell, we AFers deserve better.

Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
I think this was the one I was looking at. http://sports.yahoo.com/photos/quirks-of...slideshow/
