Starting my second pot of coffee (decaf this time). I need to run down to Target again to exchange something, but weather.com was predicting rainstorms today. Oddly enough, though it's overcast, there doesn't appear to be any rain. I'll have to check the news and the radar map.
Tonight I plan on attending a meetup about "How Do We Envision and Build a Thriving Secular Humanist Future?" I'm not really a humanist, but they host discussion events like this fairly regularly, so out of curiosity and a general lack of anything better to do (as well as a need to get off my butt and out of the house), I quite regularly attend such events put on by the Humanists of Minnesota.
Apparently the forecast is for cool temps, in the 30s, cloudy, and with high winds. Drizzle or snow flakes aren't out of the question. Oh well. It can't be worse than last night. On my way home last night, the bus I had planned to take didn't show and there was pretty steady drizzle for the entire 30 minutes I waited for the next bus. Because the first bus didn't come, and the second doesn't arrive at my transfer point until just after the latter bus arrives, I spent about an hour standing around in the drizzling rain last night. I was not happy.

Went to Vascular Surgery at the VA today. I've had trigeminal neuralgia for 1.5 years or so, I'm used to it by now and I haven't seen Neurology in 11 months for this. However. when I was seeing them they must have put in a consult with V.S. to check me for giant cell arteritis, which would mean they would take a few inches of an artery out of my forehead.
