Oh well. I got it at a good price. I'll run the ink dry on my old printer and then swap them.

Something breaks and won't go until you buy a replacement or call tech support.

Last night, I had to scan and email some documents (which I haven't needed to do at home for years).
My old Canon MP600 would print fine but not scan. Yep, not compatible with Windows 10.
Downloaded some very old drivers from Canon, installed them in Windows 8 compatibility mode and tried running the scanning prog in compatibility mode. No go ...Device not found! (who remembers TWAIN?)
As a desperate last resort, I fired up an old Paintshop Pro (of similar vintage) and clicked import >twain>scan and what do you know, the bloody thing worked! hehehe

Windows 10 is the devil. I clung to Windows XP until they pried it out of my hands and I'll do the same with Windows 7.

I'm up to absolutely nothing right now. I have loads of things that absolutely must be done, but am I doing any of them? Nope.
Actually, I am doing something. I'm wondering about the weather. Yesterday it was a nice crisp 57F, same time today it's around 73F. :/
The word bed actually looks like a bed.

After watching release after release get integrated almost immediately, I'm amazed at the number of businesses that are still running 7. Less than half the machines at work currently are 10 and those are because M$ has decided to
refuse access to updates for 7 if you're using the latest generation of hardware.
