What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
A bit depressed now, partly because it looks like Mumkey Jones won't get his channels back (to be fair, he's got all the videos of the main channel, although it looks like there's been an irreparable loss for his second channel), and partly because it looks like there's still going to be a hell of a lot of work that needs to be done trying to get the 2017 expenses to tie (and by extension, to properly record the expenses for this year.) Every week since it started, my therapist asked me how comfortable I'd be with getting a proper job in this area, especially since things have been going easy so far. At this point, even if it weren't for this, my response is simply "[Insert therapist's name here], please, at least wait for us to get everything clear for this fiscal year before we ask for a different job."

Well, at least Mumkey's got a new channel and plans to reupload some of the better, more community guideline-friendly videos to it.

(Presumably, his Elliot Rodger videos will be uploaded to other sites, since apparently, his darkly comedic analysis of one of the most infamous spree killers of the decade were the big deal breaker; apparently, the original strikes against him were done by bots, but the human flaggers still decided videos deflating the fevered ego that led to the deaths of six people was against terms of services.)

And, of course, even if my boss may be too busy to get around to it at the moment, at least he plans to help me rectify the mistakes.

Some electric heaters.
And stay under the covers as long as possible!
Best of luck beating the Winter!

Oh, and body warmth also helps, so... get together with someone!  Cuddle
Haha thanks but I'm good. We usually stay between 15 and 30 c all winter long where I live, which is why the houses don't have heaters. It's a hot place, unfortunately. It was just a very unusually low temp yesterday night. Pretty sure the all time recorded low here is only like 4c.

Rating albums on Allmusic.com, listening to music on Amazon Music Unlimited, and staying up way later than I should. I was feeling poorly as the fourth quarter rolled around in the Chiefs v. Chargers game, so I lay down to listen to the end of the game in bed. I fell asleep, of course, and woke up to the news. I got up and found a cold cup of Sumatra coffee that I had put on to brew and left brewing when I went to bed. A few seconds in the microwave and it was good to go. A few slices of garlic summer sausage and I too was good to go. Now I'm not sure the caffeine was all that bright of an idea. "Oh well."

Trying on new clothes which I bought for tonight's Christmas party, I think I'll go with the jeans and denim shirt. The trousers I bought can go back they're too tight and so can the reindeer jumper also tight.
Hoping to get away from work earlier than normal so I can have a few drinks before I go out. I'll probably be talking nonsense by half nine.

Today is my 29th birthday, and here’s what I got.

It is pretty small, but given that one is a Blu-ray of one of my favorite 90s films, another is a reference guide to one of my favorite series, and the last one is a replacement for a library bag I’ve been using for close to a decade (even if it is a bit smaller than expected), I suspect I’ll get quite a bit of mileage from them.

Got some quiet time, the wife and kids are out for the morning, so I'm getting caught up on journals and CE.

Finding it really humorous that the Nissan dealer I purchased my Leaf from sent me an email offering me a $14.95 oil and filter change for same.
