I am reminded of an incident a few years ago; while I was going to Columbia, and after I had just started seeing my therapist, I fell in love with a girl. She wasn't conventionally attractive (more in a Mrs. Richard F. Schiller sort of way), but she didn't seem to have a boyfriend, and she walked around barefoot everywhere. And that was enough for me. I worked up the nerve to talk to her, and it looked like we were hitting it off. Then I asked her for her email address, and, after I sent her an email, I recieved a reply from her, and in two words, it became clear that she would never be mine (or vice versa). So, I stopped trying to get into her pants and tried to at least try becoming friends (even going so far as to offer to marry her if she found a girl she wanted to marry and Illinois legalized gay marriage), and eventually, that didn't pan out. And when it became clear that she probably didn't even want that, I backed off. I haven't contacted her since.

Meanwhile, this woman keeps demanding a romance with Mr. Enter, even though she knows he's asexual, acting like Glenn Close from Fatal Attraction without even having the slightest bit of moral high ground. If she keeps doing this shit, she deserves all the legal action he's been preparing for.

I went to a client appreciation party yesterday and bowled my best game ever! I hadn't broken 50 since losing my fingers, but finally figured out some things and bowled a 105.

Today I'm going to the gym twice (to make the 16 visits in April to complete their fitness challenge), going to a half off sale on t-shirts at a thriftstore, and maybe more conversations with customer service at a local grocer.

Finished an Anglotopia article about Nowhere Boy becoming a musical. When the time came to submit it, somehow the whole site crashed during the submission process. I cleared cookies and logged back in (an unusually arduous task this time around), and then I finally submitted it.

I finished the April YWCA fitness challenge tonight.

As a reward for completing the challenge, I received the modest prize of a thermally insulated carrying bag. I don't know what I'll use it for, but it's orange, and has the YWCA logo and slogan, and will make a nice memento to remind me of the effort I extended to better myself this month. It only required four additional visits beyond the three instructor led fitness classes I attend each week, but it gave me the opportunity to get some practical experience using the fitness equipment on my own, and allowed me to identify activities that are both fulfilling and enjoyable, so that I won't be as dependent upon the structure of instructor led classes. There are many entertaining diversions one can engage in with the video monitor equipped fitness machines, but I think the sweet spot for me is watching news and current events programming as I work out. I can see doing that on a regular basis, as I'm often unable to make time for that otherwise.

Housesitting at my mom's for almost 2 weeks while she's on a cruise, so that's less time in the hobo wagon. Should close on the sale of my house by this time next week.

Our home purchase may have hit a snag. There's some pretty substantial and expensive repairs needing to be done, and if the seller won't provide an acceptable remedy, we'll walk.
