I went and visited a fellow wood carver who, up until today, was just an online acquaintance. Cool guy, and he has a lot more and better carvings than I, probably because he's been doing it for decades longer than I. Or maybe he's just better at it. This is the first time I have gone to a person's house who is not close family, and his first time to have a visitor since the COVID isolation regime began (I use the word "regime" in a non-political, scientific sense, here). We have both had both shots of the Pfizer vaccine, but were still observing the rules.

When I briefly lived in Missouri, I knew a gay wood worker. We never kept in touch when I moved away. I wonder if he's still there.

We’re close to wiring the thing, but we were stymied by the pickguard, which needed to be cut to accommodate the pickup. And when we did, it turned out to be too small. So we ordered an acrylic tortoiseshell clipboard we can use to make a properly sized and shaped pickguard, which has been modeled in cardboard. And if you’re wondering about the presence of “golden brown”, I was never entirely happy with the name Django, especially considering that this isn’t exactly a Django-style guitar, and after looking at how the oiled finish on the top went, I decided Golden Brown might be a better name, and it looks like Dad is starting to agree. And ironically, I’m starting to get disappointed at its losing the name Django.

Also, my iCloud storage reached the maximum, I needed to upgrade, I accidentally reset My Photo Stream, and it took me forever to get that picture on my iPad so I could post this.

Getting ready to start trying to drag the information I need out of two key people so I can process payroll. It's a struggle every other week.

Who is using PTO, who is due a bonus for training new employees, etc.  These are things only the managers know and I need to know in order to pay people correctly.

Oh, and for this pay period...none of the time has been entered for last week.

It's a party every other Wednesday for me.
