RE: What's everyone up to right now?

Trying to figure out how to spend the afternoon. I've been sewing for days on a new quilt top pattern and had several stops and restarts before finally finishing it last night. I just don't much feel like sewing. I finished my latest show binge...it's raining out...what to do, what to do?

I may be crazy, but I'm thinking of starting a petition to change it from St. Patty's Day to St. Patty's Week. Maybe even St. Patty's Month.

I started a petition to get you Yanks to stop saying ‘St. Patty’.
My success was not notable.

Well, I’ve managed to create the new pickguard for the archtop.
Also, I thought I found a good source of Light Blue-scented linen spray from Oils Galore and More. 8 oz for $8 (no shipping and no sales tax) it seemed like a steal. It arrived yesterday, and after about a second of the citrusy upper notes came a very strident, sweet, and unfamiliar scent that wasn’t like the last version I bought (from Thumpin Bear, which no longer seems to be selling it). And now, I’m wondering if what I thought was Jasmine for about a month might not actually be jasmine. It’s worth noting that Og&M did not explain the scents their version, so they might be cutting corners. I’ve asked them for an explanation. I have not received one.

Did anyone actually become famous after winning that show? I don't pay much attention to pop culture anymore.

Looking at the opening paragraphs of the UK version's WIkipedia article, One Direction was the only name I recognise that wasn't a judge or a host or summat. Maybe a couple scattered names I recognised but couldn't put to anything else. The US version?

Quote:1. Little Mix
Girlbands had had a torrid time on The X Factor (Bad Lashes anyone?) to the point where Little Mix, then called Rhythmix, had to convince the sceptical producers to put them through to the live shows in the first place. Fused together from four failed solo auditions, Jade, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jesy continued to prove people wrong, quickly looking like a proper girlband, while also maintaining individual identities. They have also, so far, managed to sidestep the typical girlband trait of diminishing returns, with 2016’s bop-heavy fourth album Glory Days shifting more than a million copies in the UK.

A group I cannot recall even after 8 1/2 years Of trawling the NME newsfeeds for material for Anglotopia.
Edit: they were apparently at the One Love Manchester concert in 2017. I found this out while listening to their hit song “Wings” to see if I remembered it. And it seems I’ve already started to forget it.

Our dog groomer was in an accident and is out of commission for a while. The dogs are looking pretty shaggy but I don't think my skills (or equipment) point to me doing it instead.
Have managed two baths and am gearing up to bathe Hoss (AKA Ziggy), he's nearly as big and heavy as the other two combined.
