What's everyone up to right now?

I got hosed by the bus. I had a transfer window of 19 minutes. The connecting bus was 20 minutes behind schedule. Primarily because the bus driver was slower than molasses hooking and unhooking a wheel chair. I was outside when he was getting unhooked. Several minutes go by and the driver had only finished unhooking the front. It took him five minutes to unload the wheelchair.

What the fuck is wrong with these assholes. The Lowery stop was closed due to construction. So I waited at the bus stop one block back. The driver went right past me and stopped at the closed stop. Fuck.

I went to Walmart to have a look at their whole side fillets of Atlantic salmon. They vary in weight some, but they're sufficiently uniform that I can trust a Walmart shopper to pick one out for me. I grabbed a small one. The only downside is that because they don't sell a lot of them, there's not any real turnover, so they're all use or freeze by the same date, which could be near or far -- there's no way to know in advance.

Cutting up and vacuum-sealing the whole fillet of Atlantic salmon that I bought at Walmart. At $8.57/lb., the 1.9 lb. fillet cost $16 and yielded three servings. That works out to a little over $5 a serving.

I've always wanted a trenchcoat. Going to browser shop for one suitable in Florida weather. Not a long one, though. A shorter coat is more my style. Maybe.

I was looking at trench coats this morning. Unfortunately they all use buttons for fasteners, which is a no go with my hands.
