Searching the Internet for a good video or videos to learn a new quilting technique. Tried it and failed miserably. Going to see if someone can explain it to me in terms that make more sense to me. I have a project in mind and really want to make this work.

I've bought about $150 of upgrades for my file server off eBay. The earliest was on April 25th, so I need to get off my butt and test this stuff. My file server is currently not setup for operation.

Trying to get some rest after being hospitalized with gross hematuria. I was sent home wearing a catheter and urine bag. I'll be making an appointment with my urologist Monday.

Spent much of the last hour and a half putting this together:

Screwed in the tuning pegs, gorilla glued on the nut, drilled in the bridge, hammered the brads onto the box and its corners (and gorilla gluing in a sixpence that got dislodged during the hammering), put the pickup in its proper place, strung it up, and spent a lot of time getting it to pitch because nylgut takes a while to get right.

Of course, because I taped up a bit more of the neck than intended, there’s still some bare spots that need a stain and gloss touch-up and the nut may need some filing down.
