Caught up with the club at a brewery this morning at 11:00am. I had 4 small glasses of boutique beer for breakfast.
I've never been a big beer drinker. All 4 were a different color. Apart from the dark beer (which tasted like cold Turkish coffee, the other 3 all tasted the same.

To me, beer is always just beer...

Noting that prices on graphics cards and the stock situation are improving. I was planning to buy an older, but still fast GPU. Maybe its price will come down now, too.

So, I use a media streamer to play music from my collection of MP3s. Unfortunately, the one I've been using (a Sandisk Media Drive) appears to have gone totally bust. I plug it in and nothing happens. No light, no streaming, no nothing. I have two media streamers that "work", but they've been in retirement since a recent iOS update (14.2, I think) rendered them all but useless. The Verbatim Mediashare, well, all I need to do is pick a song and the app crashes. When it turned out that the MediaShare didn't work, we found the Rav FileHub Plus. That one barely worked any better. Fortunately, it has improved a bit, but it's still pretty buggy.

So, what I need is something that can:

• play 64 gig SD cards with MP3 files
  
• Stream them to my iPhone
  
• Do so with a minimum of crashing.
  

Somehow, I'm finding bugger-all in that category. Why is this so hard? Am I doing something wrong? And before you say "just use Spotify" or something like that, I need something that isn't going to be dependent on another person's WiFi. I use my streamer when going out, and a lot of the time, I'll either be in the car or in somebody else's establishment and they might not have WiFi readily accessible. Hell, WiFi in my own home craps out fairly regularly. I DO NOT want to be at the mercy of someone else's WiFi.

Now that the CCP has banned crypto mining in China (where 60% of all btc are mined), demand will drop dramatically, as will prices for fast gpus.

Oh, and here’s what I have to show for drilling all those holes into The Guilded Splinter, in as dry a fit as I can feasibly do and also give a good picture of the shape of what it’ll be soon. Hopefully, soon, we’ll actually be able to gild the damn thing with the gold foil paint we ordered. And after that, I’ll be able to play it.
