I installed and tested my new graphics card. I'm installing Spierman Remastered to check the 3D graphics but it should be fine. The bottom plate of the GPU is not perfectly straight, which is annoying, but it really doesn't affect anything (besides my feelings). This build came together a lot faster than I expected. I knew that I had three weeks before anything would have to be returned if it were defective, but I've managed to pull it all together in basically a week.

Found my missing package. It was in an Amazon shipping bag, despite being from an Ebay seller. I'm guessing they also sell on Amazon and just use the same packaging for both.

Spending half the morning diagnosing a bad ethernet cable problem. I should have known something was up when the network adapter randomly quit a day or two ago.

Surveying the condition of an old Z77-based computer. I tried to reflash an LSI raid controller on one of my Supermicro motherboards, but the UEFI BIOS on it was not right some way or another. This Z77 PC is the only other old UEFI-based system that I have. What I read is that the older, the better, but I think the Supermicro boards were too old. I could try it on a newer platform, but if this doesn't work, HBAs that are already flashed are only $20-30 on Ebay.
