Infinite Regress.

Infinite Regress.
What are you thoughts on infinite regress?

And the digress of mutation?

And the crazy idea that God is immune to regress?

And finally, what do you think of the idea that there are two forces: Regress, and Digress. Or maybe it's all regress somehow. - It's just an idea of mine that I'd like to hear your thoughts on...I don't believe it to be true it's just an idea. Hopefully a testable one.

The idea seems to me interesting, but I have following questions:
1) the opposite of regress is progress so why are you speaking only
about regress
2) the meaning of evolution is linked to progress,so if there exists
regress the meaning of it would be devolution
3) if there exists degress then it should be lateral to the axis progress-
regress and should following have the possibilty to be right or
left ,depends on which direction you are looking
In any case the nonexisting God has nothing to do with it.
99% chance that all this "lite" philosophy is mere bullshit

When I'm talking about regress I am actually talking about what has progressed up untill now. I'm actually talking about progress, but from a different angle; a different perspective.

I'm talking about if you regress back in time enough...you see how things have - or could have - progressed.

I'm referring to the part when Dawkins talks about Regress in TGD at the start of the chapter: Arguments for God's Existence. Against an argument about regress.

I prefer that thing Nietzsche said, eternal recurrence. I guess I got confused but to talk about it, I fail to see how it's much weirder than theism, so if I have to accept the supernatural, I guess I'll take it.

Infinite regress seems like a problem if you don't like epistemological nihilism. And the only reason to hate epistemological nihilism is if you want to take a hard position (knowledge is inherently false) or a soft position (from the available evidence, we have to make a tentative assessment that knowledge is not conclusive).
