i no, rite!

*coughSockPuppet!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Are you suggesting that we never get atheist trolls around here?

If so, you're more of an idiot than I initially assessed. Congratulations, that's quite an accomplishment.

String theory can go up to 11 dimensions... not sure if they're all spacial...

But, while we're on the subject of making stuff up, why not make it 3D time? and 12-D space?
I mean, even us in our 3-D space don't go through all the 2-D planes available... so maybe your god is just floating along those 12 dimensions dealing with his own life and only every so often he drops by our tiny 3-D+1 plane.

That makes god the same as the absent god... deism... still a more sound position than any religion.
string theory has 1 time dim, and 9 spatial dim. at times 11 is mentioned since some believe God is part of the equation and existed prior to the U.. in the 11'th dim (another time dim or it's equivalent).
until the space-time theorems were developed, most thought of time singularly and infinite in both directions.

I honestly can feel some of my brain cells dying. Why did I have to click on this thread?

Protip: stop asserting, and start providing evidence.
