Hello, fellow atheists!

I'm glad to be a part of your forum.

Long story short, I'm interested in discussing the topic of religion with you guys, in the hope that I will gain some more knowledge on the subject.
Pretty much all I have now are my own philosophies, created from a couple of years of social isolation. I now have a decreased ability to feel, and so my emotion-based religious beliefs went with it.

My parents are both baptists, and so they reject evolution completely, where most other christian churches manage to shoehorn it in with their faith.

Agreed.

Well, basically, I don't care about anything anymore. I guess you could call it a form of depression... Numbness... No motivation to do anything at all except for sit at my computer screen and read.

I guess I still feel a bit of residual anger though.
