Metric translation:
I'd rather have 61 cm. of snow than 32ºC and humid.
That would be bouncing between two options, neither of which I really like.
I'd rather have it 60º-70º with a slight breeze. Wink

Metric:
I'd rather it be 15º-22º with a...... how do you say 'slight breeze' in Celsius?

Anything from 9 - 15 kph

Well some days can get over 100... but most days are between 60-80F

The real difference is it's all dry heat, I live in Florida and I can tell you first hand. Humid heat is hell compared to dry heat at the same temperature.

I live in San Diego County on the coast. Our average temperature for the year is about 68 degrees. It's breezy and sunny and beautiful, and I wouldn't move back to nasty, snowy Syracuse if Bradley Cooper built us a love nest there.

I was in Minnesota a few weeks ago and the wind chill was negative forty degrees (F). As for the snow, it isn't really the snow that bothers me, but the ice. Just thin enough that you don't see it, just thick enough to easily slip on. At least if there is thick snow you have some traction.

Am I the only one here that hasn't experienced the snow? Living in SoCal we don't get it in our area, just a bunch of damn heat.

I'm Alaskan... and I love snow. Dude, the week it was iced over here (Denton, TX) was one of the better weeks in my recent memory.

The southerners couldn't handle that shit, though... slipping and sliding and high-centering on the ice and snow Tiger

Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
