Ruddy bloody fookin' pop-ups
Damn pop-ups wont go away...and all my virus scanners say my comp is clean!

And when I use spyware scanner and remove all the spyware successfully... -

Some new ones pop up! And when I do the spyware again...brand new EVIL pop-ups enter my 'Machine'

BOOOO pop-ups ....screw you pop-ups

EDIT: WTF!!! ALSO; I got a trojan that keeps popping up even though I've apparently deleted it several times...it says the risk is severe!

But when I google it, it says the risk is very low!

RE: Ruddy bloody fookin' pop-ups
that was beautiful, almost poetic =o

If you're refering to those yellow bubbles which crop up from time to time, they can be disabled in XP by modifying the registry: http://www.intelliadmin.com/blog/2006/04...loons.html

i don't know about vista but there's probably a hack for it.

A lot of virus scanners don't use the default method of popping up and that hack might not resolve the problem, but if you're lucky you'll be able to find a setting in the virus scanners options to disable them.

Good luck.

AHH! Is it just me who finds it very satisfiying after you've just killed a bunch of EVIL malware....

Its like killing pests only they're not even alive so you're not even doing anything REMOTELY harmful! Not even to the pests! Cos they ain't alive!

WHOO HOO!

P.S: Lol rjh, were you serious about the 'almost' 'poet'ry or being sarcastic? Lol

no, the first time i read it i could have sworn it rhymed.
Reading through it again there seems to be a very smooth and consistent flow to the sentences.
Was it intentional or just a happy accident?

As for killing spy ware there's probably not so much satisfaction in the daily scan and purge as there is in ridding the system of a particularly persistent annoying virus. Though the only times I do these things is when I'm fixing other peoples computers, and when its not your own system its never satisfying and always guaranteed to be a pain in the arse.

Uh Oh. Did you use a free spyware removal tool from over the internet? Some of those things will plant trojans on your computer. You have to be careful. Don't look for stuff about viruses online, cause searching about viruses and such will take you to a link to a trojan, in many cases, disguised as something else. The trojan can then put all kinds of spyware and malware on your computer. I think you might need to get some help.

Lol...well I always try to write elegantly....I've recently read and been re-reading the God Delusion....Richard Dawkins writes elegantly....

Also I've read a lot of Fry and Laurie....and watched QI and stuff etc etc..read the General Ignorance QI book.

QI (hosted by Stephen Fry) is a very intellectual and educational, but also funny... and sometimes 'stupid'...program.

Stephen Fry is very intellectual - as is Dawkins....

If you're serious about the poetry thing that is...I coulda picked up some elegance from Fry/Dawkins.

EDIT: YES I KILLED ALL THE FOOKIN MALWARE AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA, BUHAHAHAHAHA.....

MUHAHAHAHAHA! The malware's dead!!!!

Whoo.
